In a few years we have achieved a leading market position as advisors to the global exhibitions and conference industry. Each of our clients has individual needs and challenges, which are addressed in our different engagements. With an unparalleled depth and breadth of knowledge in this diverse market, we provide support to 5 distinct client groups:
|» Venue Owners & Venue Managers
With direct or indirect ownership of a major exhibition or conference facility, this client group is first and foremost focused on the management, maintenance and development of its real estate. With the broader goals of bringing incremental business activity to the city/region they are in, more and more venue owners are also venturing into profitable growth areas such as show organization as well as related service offerings.
|» Event Organizers
A very diverse group, some small organizers with few events in a single location every year, other organizers manage portfolios consisting of hundreds of major exhibitions or conferences staged across several continents.
Ministerial and municipal departments chartered to supervise activities of trade fair and conference companies or commissioned to look after economic development, industry and trade promotion in their country, region or city. Sometimes a specialized public-sector body (e.g. Exhibition and/or Conference Board, etc.) is specifically assigned to strengthen and support the growth of the trade fair and/or conference sector.
Associations we work with have come in two main forms: Those that are specific to an industry sector and those that are responsible for the promotion of trade fairs and exhibitions or conferences overall.
Private equity funds are observing with strong interest the exhibitions and major conference business. In recent years they have taken an increasingly active role, taking both minority and majority stakes in targets companies in Europe and the United States.
